  • Marinate your protein with the paste for 1–2 hours for maximum flavour.

Ingredients

  • 2–3 tbsp Aromatic Kitchen Vindaloo Paste

  • 500g protein of choice (chicken, lamb, tofu, or chickpeas)

  • 1 medium onion, sliced

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • ½ cup water or stock

  • Optional: 2 tbsp coconut milk or plain yogurt

  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Method

  1. Sauté the Base
    – Heat oil in a pan, add sliced onions, and sauté until golden.

  2. Add the Paste
    – Stir in Vindaloo Paste and cook for 1–2 minutes to release the aromas.

  3. Add Protein
    – Add your chosen protein and cook until sealed and coated in the spice.

  4. Simmer
    – Add water or stock and let it simmer for 15–20 minutes (or until cooked through).
    – Stir in coconut milk or yogurt if desired, to soften the heat and add creaminess.

  5. Serve
    – Garnish with fresh coriander.
    – Serve hot with steamed rice, naan, or flatbread.
